The USGA and R&A have confirmed they will implement new golf ball testing standards aimed at curbing the distances being achieved by top professionals. According to Golf.com, ‘the new testing conditions will be 125-mph clubhead speed, a spin rate of 2200 rpm, and a launch angle of 11 degrees.
